After-sales
A working summary for buyers checking low-RMA supply, claim evidence, and credit or replacement handling before they scale.
By the RefurbMarket sourcing desk · Published May 9, 2026 · Updated July 13, 2026
The claim scope is defined before payment approval. The target is under 2% functional RMA within 30 days for covered issues, measured as covered functional RMA units divided by delivered units in the accepted batch. Cosmetic variance inside the approved grade band is not functional RMA.
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Covered scope | Verified functional defects that do not match the approved quote, grade baseline, and inspection terms. |
| Standard window | 30 days after delivery, unless the accepted PI states a different inspection period. |
| Rate calculation | Covered functional RMA units divided by delivered units in the accepted batch. |
| Excluded cases | Misuse, impact, liquid damage, unauthorized repair, missing evidence, and cosmetic variance inside the agreed grade. |
| Required evidence | Order reference, SKU, IMEI or serial, a clear failure description, and photo or video proof. |
| Initial response | Complete evidence gets an initial review target within 2 business days. |
| Resolution | Replacement, account credit, or a negotiated adjustment, depending on evidence and stock. |
